| Insects and rats travel as stowaways in every cargo vessel. Cargo loaded in the ship holds or containers gets infested and contaminated during the voyage with stored product pests and rats. Living accommodation, galley and stores often get infested with cockroaches and bugs. Periodical disinfestation and rodent management are very essential. PMC undertakes prophylactic measures and fumigation of empty/loaded ship holds as well as cargo containers using fumigants, Methyl Bromide or Aluminum Phosphide.
